Works as described, the 5 blade works best for lower startup wind speeds, starts to spin around 6mph with the 5 blade version and will output a few hundred watts in the 10mph gusts that I get. I paired mine with a midnight classic 250v and a voltage reducer for charging lithium iron phosphate batteries.
